BackTrack 3 est encore au stade BETA. Comme il y a une immense variété d'outils et de configurations, nous avons besoin de votre aide pour identifier et corriger les bugs.
Ces corrections seront prises en compte dans BackTrack 3 Final. Merci de votre aide!

[modifier] Dell Inspiron 1501

Après lancement du live,l'écran devient noir et le reste,impossible de booter.Voici la solution:

  • 1.bootez sur la clé usb
  • 2.Au menu des différentes interfaces,choisir (ET NON PAS VALIDER, juste se servir uniquement des flèches haut et bas) le mode texte
  • 3.appuyez sur la touche TAB (tabulation)
  • 4. tapez acpi=off (après avoir tapé un espace) puis entrez et vous êtes sous KDE (attention clavier qwerty)*

[modifier] Dell Inspiron 6400

Impossible de démarrer X en raison d'un manque de paramètre dans la géomètrie de l'écran. La résolution est de 1280x800, mais pas listée dans l'écran de configuration. (essayer xconf ?)

  • line 13 devrait être: BT3\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @BT3\tools\WIN\config -o "%1" -A "%CDLABEL%" -V "%CDLABEL%" .
  • line 13 au lieu de: slax\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @slax\tools\WIN\config -o "%1" -A "%CDLABEL%" -V "%CDLABEL%" .

Pas de barre de titre par défaut -Confirmed: (Dell D820)

Correction: 

nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals
nvidia-xconfig -d 24
Ctrl + Alt + Backspace

Fenêtre noire par intermittence:

Il arrive que quand on agrandit une fenêtre, l'intérieur reste noir. Réduisez la taille de la fenêtre et le contenu reviendra.

[modifier] Format de partition EXT2

Un bug apparait au boot après une full install quand la partition est en ext2 (message d'erreur:L99999999999999999)

Par contre en reiserFS il n'y a plus de problèmes. Formatez donc en reiser avec mkreiserfs /dev/sda? ou hda

Services -> SSH -Perl scripts located in /usr/bin/ needed for:

  • Setup and start SSHD (setup-sshd)
  • Start SSHD (start-sshd)
  • Stop SSHD (stop-sshd)

  • Unload for iwlwifi-1.0.0 & ipwraw

misc

  • Load/Unload for iwlwifi-1.0.0 & ipwraw

Fix:

Open Load IPW 3945/4965 with menu editor and change: 

Command: modprobe ipwraw && rmmod ipwraw & load && cd /root;sudo -s
Workpath: /usr/src/drivers/iwlwifi-1.0.0/

Open Load IPWRAW and edit: 

Command: unload && modprobe ipwraw && cd /root;sudo -s
Workpath: /usr/src/drivers/iwlwifi-1.0.0/

make sure you save

Confirmed this works

Missing from /pentest/wireless/airpwn-1.3/

  • Missing required files missing from non existent "conf" directory.

  • After needed files are copied to /pentest/wireless/airpwn-1.3/... problems still occur:

La version de slapt-get installé par défaut semble ne pas fonctionner avec la plupart des sites mirrors, donc si vous upgradez vers la nouvelle version de slapt-get vos problèmes seront résolus.

[modifier] VirtualBox and Parallels Virtualization issues

When using Back|Track 3 in VirtualBox or Parallels for Linux and OSX, booting the iso and selecting the normal boot options or FLUX, the screen loads, appears to start loading X, but appears to then continuously crash and reload X over and over. All I can see is a cursor then a black screen, then a cursor again. The only way to get it to boot is with the 1024x768 VESA menu specified in the initial booting.

Additionally, when using VirtualBox or Parallels, the keyboard is all hosed up. I'll type something and randomly it will inject like 10 extra characters. For Example:

I am goinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg tooooooooooooooooooooooo typppppppppppppppppppppppppppe tttttttttttttttttttttttthissssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Its completely random and does not happen all of the time..
